40,000 valuations completed in first three months of Trigold and Hometrack integration

Hometrack and Trigold today revealed that over 40,000 valuations have been completed in the three months since they made instant property valuations available from the Trigold sourcing system, saving the average intermediary three hours per packaged case.

Exclusive to Trigold, the system offers intermediaries access to instant valuations in seconds in order to make a more accurate and assured product recommendation.  The result of the first three months demonstrates how quickly brokers have switched on to the benefits of starting the advice process with an accurate valuation of the property or properties concerned.

Trigold user Ian Guest at The Mortgage Advice Centre said “The Trigold system has helped me enormously and on average, I think I am saving about three hours per packaged case. AVMs allow there to be a realistic assessment of a property’s value and can then help me decide whether my client’s own assessment of the property’s value is sensible. “Previously, before I used the system, there were many times where a case was delayed or even fell through because the customer’s own assessment of their property’s value was not realistic.”

Trigold CEO Bill Safran commented: “Using instant AVMs can save intermediaries a lot of time, and in some cases, prevent a case falling through. The system means that with a click of a button, an intermediary can get key facts about a property saving them some much-needed time. The volume of business completed in the first two months shows beyond doubt that the system has been an enormous hit with intermediaries. It also shows a step forward in terms of the sort of information intermediaries now have at their fingertips.”

David Catt, Commercial Director, Hometrack said: “The system gives mortgage brokers the confidence to know that they are giving an accurate assessment of a property’s value when advising their client. A valuation can sometimes be the one thing that stalls a case going through so the development of the Hometrack system is vital to the sales process. The feedback we have received has been great with many intermediaries telling us that the system is helping them push cases through and helping them when choosing the right product for their client’s circumstances.”
